Radiated Tortoises

I based the individuals, in this painting, on the most beautifully marked tortoise shell that I’ve ever seen (a specimen confiscated in Madagascar). The print represents just one section of a much larger painting, which depicted a couple of key Madagascan habitats and several different species.
